Copyright Info for this Website
The '61-'71 Dodge Truck Website makes use of a variety of mediums and information to present the topics covered. All users should consider the following statement in regards to proper use of the materials within this site.

The '61-'71 Dodge Truck Website Copyright Statement
The 1961-1971 Dodge Truck Website as a whole is not copyrighted to Kris Wickstead, the author. Certain portions of this site, including pictures, text and articles are the copyright of their writers and owners. Nonetheless, much of the overall design, a great deal of original text, and a number of photographs are the copyright of Kris Wickstead in regards to this site and their usage within it.

With that in mind, we must place the purpose of this site into perspective. It is intended by the author that this site be an Internet based reference for Dodge Truck owners and enthusiasts. It is totally non-profit on behalf of the author, and should be considered for the most part as an educational or reference based source for information. Users and visitors to this site may view, download, link to, or print the pages in their entirety as long as the pages are not changed or reproduced for business use of any sort. This use is allowable as long as credit is properly given to the information within the site, be it the creation of the author's or otherwise.

An extraordinary attempt (in comparison to nearly all other sites on the Internet) to give ample credit to the authors and copyright holders of information, pictures and otherwise has been in place ever since this site was created on September 20th, 1996. I challenge those who view this site with concerns about copyright infringement to look at the references to all copyrighted material on this site in comparison to others using this medium. Credit is given to all sources wherever credit is due; certainly a rare find on the Internet. You'll find that I've covered nearly every base I can in creating and maintaining this site.

Photographs from magazines, books and other literature are probably the most sensitive of all materials exhibited on this site. In regards to this topic, each photograph which is not my own has an individual reference to the publication of origin somewhere nearby it on the web page where it is seen. Understand that these photos are intended to enhance the information presented in a historical context and are not to mislead the viewer into thinking that they are the author's.

Other photographs with no reference should be considered as photos taken by the author. These photographs are in public domain, and may be used elsewhere freely. This applies mostly to the "Street Scenes" and "Junkyard Scenes" photos, but is also in effect for all other pages within this site in regards to original photos by the author.

Graphics on this site, such as imagemaps and original bitmap images are the property of the author. This includes any logos or sample "year by year" trucks shown on the Spotter's Guide and History pages. Any images such as logos or truck images that were created by me are of public domain except for the imagemaps at the top and bottom of each page. I reserve these and the images within them as my own compilation and design. Any ads or logos of the Chrysler Corporation or otherwise are of course not my own; the same is true for Mr. Horsepower or the Hemi engine, both shown in the main imagemap. These are images that were reproduced or redrawn for the purpose of navagatibility and are not the copyright of Kris Wickstead.

Above all else, this site is for 1961-1971 Dodge Sweptline Era Truck and Van Enthusiasts. I only wish to present information that will help keep these unique trucks alive for future generations to enjoy and restore.

If there is sensitive material on this site that you feel, after reading this page, considering my work to give credit to all involved, and attempting to understand the usage of the site, please let me know by Online Response. Website Goals

In creating this site, I have attempted to make it fit specific criteria when it comes to how visitors see each page.

Also, historical information on production figures, specs etc. have been highlighted, but are not the focus. To the average surfer, they are most interested in what to look for in spotting, neat available options in those years, and basic information. For in depth items such as these, consult the Books page for direction to more useful sources if this is your aim.

Quick Loading
No one likes to wait for more than 30 seconds for a web page to load. Above all else, I try and make each page correct and consise. I also try to have as many pictures as possible created in the jpeg format so they load as quick as can be. Text and information is an emphasis, but flashy graphics are kept to a minimum while enhancing the site in its critical areas(i.e. imagemaps).

Factual Information
Intensive research of the real world, past and current publications, and the owners themselves continues in an effort to deliver the most correct info as possible. Finding information about these trucks, as you may know already, isn't an easy task at all. This site is here specifically for that reason.

Variety and Uniqueness
Anyone can throw together a page or two, but to present a topic that has not been previously examined in detail is a primary aim with this site. Uniqueness is also a strong notion, especially when it comes to ever changing features or new items of interest.

Proper Citing of Sources
This site contains a wealth of information, much of which is not off of the top of my head. Due to this fact, and the fact that plagerism is a crime in my book and by law, I encourage the citing of sources. True, the web is not a place for regulations and restrictions, but it is a place for citing sources.
